[Gas Newspaper] Hogreen Air’s 7 kW-class PEMFC has successfully passed the final completion inspection by the Korea Gas Safety Corporation (KGS),
marking a major milestone for the building-integrated fuel cell industry.
Hogreen Air Co., Ltd. (CEO Hong Seong-ho), a hydrogen-specialized company in Korea, announced on the 29th that its
in-house developed 7 kW-class stationary Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC) system has officially passed the KGS completion inspection.
This certification officially verifies that Hogreen Air’s building-scale fuel cell system meets both high-level technical performance and stringent safety standards,
and is regarded as a critical turning point for the company’s entry into the urban distributed power generation market.
In line with the Korean government’s 2050 Carbon Neutrality goal and the enforcement of the Special Act on the Promotion of Distributed Energy,
Hogreen Air has devoted several years to developing building-integrated fuel cell systems aimed at improving urban energy self-sufficiency and maximizing building energy efficiency.
Hong Seong-ho, CEO of Hogreen Air, commented:
