On the 12th, Hogreen Air, a specialist in hydrogen drones and fuel cells, participated in the 'Disaster Response Safe Korea Training' organized by Gwangju Metropolitan City and Dong-gu Office at the Sky Yard of the National Asian Culture Center.

This training, aimed at preparing for densely populated area accidents, such as the Itaewon Tragedy last year, was designed to enhance citizen safety and disaster response capabilities in the event of a multi-density crowd accident. The simulated disaster scenario involved an explosion of fireworks at a nearby performance venue, requiring the evacuation of spectators.

Hogreen Air contributed to the response training by deploying hydrogen drones. The company utilized its self-developed ground control system, connecting it to display real-time situations and handling people counting and voice guidance broadcasts. Following this, the Dongbu Fire Department and medical institutions performed tasks related to smooth evacuation routes and medical support.

Additionally, Hogreen Air showcased its technology for using drones to search for specific missing persons within crowds based on reports received on-site. This demonstration validated the technological capabilities of long-duration flights enabled by hydrogen-powered drones and real-time on-site broadcasting through the ground control system, including facial recognition. The event was attended by Gwangju City, Dong-gu Office, disaster cooperation departments, and 23 other organizations.

Hogreen Air's CEO, Hong Sung-ho, expressed, "This training was an excellent opportunity to reaffirm the utility of our technology in search and rescue operations" and stated, "We aim to continue developing various artificial intelligence solutions for building a safer society in the future."
