Hogreen Air, a hydrogen-specialized company, announced that it is participating in KADEX 2024 (Korea Army International Defense Exhibition),
which opened on the 2nd, where it will showcase its cutting-edge liquid hydrogen drones and 7 kW-class hydrogen fuel cell power generation systems for electric vehicle charging.
KADEX 2024, held through the 6th at Gyeryongdae, is a comprehensive defense industry exhibition featuring a wide range of Korea’s representative defense technologies—from major
weapon systems representing K-Defense to combat support and force sustainment systems.
The exhibition also hosts various business programs, including export consultations, technical briefings, and networking lounges.
At this exhibition, Hogreen Air is presenting a liquid hydrogen drone capable of more than 14 hours of flight time, significantly outperforming conventional battery-powered drones.
The drone has successfully demonstrated remote-controlled flight via LTE/5G communication, confirming its suitability for long-range and beyond-visual-line-of-sight (BVLOS) operations.
In addition, the drone is equipped with facial recognition and people-counting functions, providing optimized solutions for military operations and security missions,
including efficient execution of GOP (General Outpost) fence surveillance missions.
Alongside the drone, Hogreen Air is also showcasing its 7 kW-class hydrogen fuel cell power generation system for EV charging, developed to supply electricity within military bases.
Designed with a compact form factor and low-noise operation, the system offers high usability in military operational environments while being recognized as an eco-friendly and highly efficient energy source.
